153. Mar. 23: I looked up on Wikipedia, the Hatfield-McCoy fued.
I've never ever known what this is, and nevertheless have used it as a reference point on many occasions. The article happened to be very dry, so I don't feel completely enriched on the subject, but apparently, one of their earliest fueds was over the ownership of a hog, or something of that sort. They later got into many more arguments, involving inter-clan partner stealing, I think. Honestly, I didn't set out to be an expert. And obviously, that didn't happen. I can't even say whether those "facts" up there are correct. I wouldn't suggest you quote me on them-- but I can't stop you from turning this blog into a "learning moment."
