115. Feb. 13: I went to a play at Illusion Theater.
Molly's mom had gotten tickets to "Speech and Debate" which was playing there, and she had an extra ticket and asked me to go. It was about misfit teenagers forming the speech and debate club at their school to expose the secrets of a certain teacher they have. It was really funny, but also sad, and it was well acted. I would recommend anyone see it. The theater was nice too. I don't think I've ever been to a theater where it's just straight up a floor in a building.
Then afterwards Jane and Molly slept over because we had a quizbowl the next morning, and I should probably add that this night will go down in history as the night Molly brought "Maureen" to life. She found some old American Girl Doll shoes while she was cleaning out her house, and Jane and I both kind of made fun of them when we saw them, but she brought them to the play, and put them on her fingers and made them dance. We called it Maureen because that was the name on the armrest of my seat at the play.
