Normally, I will just kind of pass by items that I don't really see myself buying, or perhaps am not in the financial situation to buy (J. Crew, anyone?) and so I don't really ever try anything on that I know I will not buy. But as I was at the Gap with Caroline and Emily, as a sister day we were having, they were both trying things on, and I thought, what the heck, because trying stuff on is fun. I don't know why I don't do it more often, even when, as I say, I have no intention of buying. I suppose I want to eliminate as much work for the employees as possible. But anyways, so I tried on some jeans, that fit really really well, by the way, I will be going back to buy them, and then I tried on a dress, that I would have never in a million years thought I would try on, let alone buy. Which I ended up doing, I needed an Easter dress. It's a strapless hot pink a-line dress, and it's adorable. So I was so glad that I made this my new thing, because otherwise, I would have never bought the dress. I will FOR SURE being doing this more often.
The reason I was at the Gap, as I mentioned, was that I was having a sister day with Caroline and Emily, because Emily was on the tail-end of her spring break, and I was just starting mine. And so we went to target, and I tried on some dresses there too, which were a little too ridiculous for words. And then we went to Woodbury Cafe for lunch, and I got a mondo burger with fries, and then we went to Woodbury lakes, where the gap was. We went back to Emily's house so she could look for some of Josh's old sunglasses for Caroline, and then I ended up getting some glasses from her as well, and I was complaining the whole day about how I didn't have a spring purse, so Emily gave my one of her old ones, and she also gave me a shirt. It was just like a little sister swap get together. Then we went out for some Jamba, and brought one over to Josh's house, where we proceeded to play Wii with Izabell. All good fun.
I must mention, that I was OBSESSED with Friends this week. I just suddenly got in the mood to watch some, and since I had Season 10 on DVD, I just watched a few episodes, and then I eventually watched the whole season, and then, since I still had Season 5 on loan from Lizzie, I watched some of that too. Target put a price cut on all of the seasons, so I bought 6 and 7 as well. I have yet to buy 8 and 9, but I'll get there. I don't think anyone in my house was too happy with me during this explosion I had going on over here.
